🌟 Infosys Foundation STEM Stars: A Wonderful Opportunity for Aspiring Women in STEM

In an inspiring effort to empower young women in India, the Infosys Foundation has launched the STEM Stars initiative. This program is designed to support female students who dream of pursuing undergraduate degrees in STEM — that is, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

🎯 What is the STEM Stars Program?

The Infosys Foundation STEM Stars initiative aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious female students across India. The objective is simple yet impactful: to encourage more women to take up careers in STEM by removing financial barriers.


✅ Eligibility Criteria

Here’s who can apply for this prestigious scholarship:

  • Applicants must be female students from India.

  • They should have successfully completed their Class 12 examinations.

  • Students enrolled in the first year of undergraduate STEM courses at NIRF-accredited institutions are eligible. This also includes:

    • Second-year B.Arch students

    • Students in five-year Integrated or Dual Degree programs.

  • Interestingly, female students aiming to pursue engineering and medical courses in government colleges not listed in NIRF rankings are also welcome to apply.

  • The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹8,00,000.


🏆 Prizes & Rewards

Selected candidates will receive:

  • A scholarship of up to ₹1,00,000 per annum,

  • Covering actual expenses for the entire duration of the course.

This support can significantly ease the financial burden and help students focus on excelling in their academics.
