Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the concerned or allied subject from a recognized university.

• Minimum marks: 55% (or 50% for SC/ST candidates).

• Entrance Test: A Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by an interview.

• Exemptions: Candidates with UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET/SLET/SET/M.Phil. qualifications are exempt from the entrance test but must still apply online, pay the registration fee, and attend the interview.

• Medium of Instruction: English for all subjects, except Telugu (which will be in Telugu).

• The Ph.D. entrance test result is valid only for the 2024–25 academic year.
